Tracy Hilliard, LMT, RN

Tracy Hilliard is a Licensed Massage Therapist and R.N. in Tennessee and received her 1000 hour certificate of Honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2000. She began her career in bodywork alongside physical therapists at an outpatient sports medicine clinic in Colorado. As Tracy began to cultivate her own private practice, she turned her interests toward women’s health which led her to Belize where she was trained in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® with Rosita Arvigo. After several years in Colorado, she relocated back to her roots in Chattanooga and instructed massage therapy for several years. Tracy is currently the owner of Belly Body Wholeness in Chattanooga, TN. In addition to being a certified practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® she is also a Self-Care instructor of this work. She is a registered nurse, holds a BA in psychology and has further training in Nurturing the Mother® Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage, various neuromuscular techniques and is a certified iBme Mindfulness Teacher. Tracy also draws upon many perspectives of health beyond massage including her studies of nursing, herbalism, mindfulness, and menstrual cycle education with an aim of enhancing the body’s innate systems for recovery and balance. She is a lover of the natural world and resets her nervous system by spending time hiking in the woods, wandering near the rivers, and sharing slow meals with close friends.

After instructing several years at Miller-Motte’s Massage program, the fire to want to teach others was lit. Tracy has been teaching Level 1 Self Care for the Arvigo Institute since 2015. Along with these classes, she had been a speaker at Trust Birth Conference, Inspiring Better Birth Conference, and ICAN meetings.
